Used Motors
Tohatsu Tohatsu
Tohatsu outboard motors are long lived, so we have a stock of used motors which have been traded in for other models, or have been repaired or rebuilt.  All of our motors are test run, compression is checked, and necessary repairs made.  Rebuilt  engines carry a one year warranty, others a 90 day warranty.  Often, a used outboard will be a cost-effective alternative to buying a new engine.
Nissan Nissan
Nissan outboard motors share the reputation of Tohatsu motors for their dependability and long life.  We stock selected Nissan motors which have all been test-run, the compression checked, and all necessary repairs made.  These motors mainly come in as trade-ins, and are ready to provide many more years of service.  All come with a 90 day warranty.
Yamaha Yamaha

Most of these motors are trade-ins.  We have test run them and made necessary repairs, and warranty them for 30 days.

Johnson Johnson
Johnson/OMC is alive and well.  Parts and service for these engines is available and we have some of them on hand.
Evinrude Evinrude

OMC/Evinrude is still around, and we have a classic.

Honda Honda
Honda was the first manufacturer to make only four stroke outboards.  All of these motors have been test run and the compression checked.  The oil and filters (where installed) have been changed.  All come with a 90 day warranty.
Used Motors

Ballard Inflatable Boats takes in a number of outboard  motors from customers as they change boats, change their objectives, or just have an extra motor.  Each of our used outboards is test run, the compression checked, and necessary repairs made.  All of our used motors are warranted for 30 days; rebuilt engines for one year.  Many of these motors have cosmetic problems, but are ready to go for many more years.  We also have some classic motors which are becoming harder to find.
